West trio of All-Americans

Fresh off a trip to the Class 5A State Tournament and each being selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State Team, Plano West graduates Robert Huber, Ryan Ford and Blake Parker have all been named to the 2010 Louisville Slugger High School All-American team.

Making the squad was no easy task for the trio of Wolves as 25 players on the list were taken in the first five rounds of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft.

West’s representatives may one day fit that bill as Huber is off to Duke, Ford is headed to play for Texas and Parker will compete for Auburn.

This marks the 14th year that Louisville Slugger has sponsored the High School All-Americans as selected by Collegiate Baseball.
